I do not have the words to express how amazing this experience with Lorena was! I am a very anxious person, and the thought of handing over my dress to someone to cut and alter was so scary! But she really made me feel at ease with her kindness and clear expertise in tailoring wedding dresses. She gave valuable input and suggested things I had never considered. When I had concerns about the fit of the dress, she allowed me to come back multiple times to try it on to ease my nerves. She is the owner and sole seamstress/tailor, she works so incredibly hard to take special care of your clothes. I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding all thanks to her! Ardmore Tailor helped me with two bridesmaid dresses and then I came to them for my own wedding dress in 2023! I am writing this review realizing I will be back soon as a bridesmaid again. I had a great experience here and they expertly handled every request on my dress. She removed a layer of petticoat, hemmed every layer of tulle, and added a beautiful french bustle. She even trimmed the illusion neckline a bit for my comfort. I am so grateful for her work and the calm atmosphere of this shop. Thank you!
Not that Nurten (Lorena) and her team need anymore praise but I am so happy with her work that I just had to add to all of these positive reviews! She altered a crochet dress that I will be wearing to my son’s wedding so that it now fits like a glove. And her price was so reasonable that I just had to pay her more!
