The Hite Company

This company used to be owned and run by generations of a local family. It was a top of the line company who really cared about their customer service and their employees! They did a lot of work for the community and were well respected. Sadly, they sold the business to an out of state larger electrical business and it has never been the same. They closed many locations and many longtime employees lost their jobs . So sad to see that it is not the highly respected pillar of the community that it once was. The Hite family are sincerely wonderful people! I believe they wouldn't have sold had they known that Mayer Electric was going to do this!! Lee Hite still continues his community outreach with PSU. And I wish him well. It breaks my heart to hear the many rumors that the quality and service the Hites built has been ruined by these new owners. There's nothing like a home grown family business!!!
