About The Summit Tennis and Athletic Club
Summit Athletic Club is a welcoming gym with a friendly and neighborly atmosphere, where many members know each other. It is conveniently located near large convenience stores, with ample parking and helpful staff at the front desk. The club offers a variety of amenities including tennis and basketball courts, training areas, and a range of classes such as spinning, yoga, Zumba, and kickboxing. There are also snacks available for purchase and locker keys can be borrowed. The pool is small but well-used. The club offers good membership prices, but one reviewer noted that some classes do not always adhere to the schedule. The gym has top-notch, clean facilities and a strong sense of community, with members often turning in lost items to the front desk. Overall, it is a great place to work out and stay fit.
Trainer Krista Shay is excellent. After more than a year off because of back surgery, she was just what I needed to get back in the gym. Knowledgeable, pay and encouraging. She took the time to understand my situation and walked me through exercises and routines that pushed me while keeping proper form to avoid injury
She is tops in my book and HIGHLY recommended.
Summit is 💯 my peace and sanctuary away from my kitty cat/home. 🌊The aquatics therapy here is amazing with steamrooms, sauna, inhalation/red light therapy, gigantic jacuzzi and nice size pool. The staff is very nice. The club is very clean. Members are friendly. My only complaint is that I'm disabled and I mainly go to use the pool. The pool has several doors very close to access it, but the check in is on the second floor on the opposite side of the building. Many elderly members comment that is a huge inconvenience and for me it's rough. I know it's a gym to get excersize but I use the pool to walk. Walking is difficult for me. I just think they don't accommodate the disabled who need the pool for physical therapy. Please consider this for change a lot of the elderly people need a closer check in.
