Took my dog Blu for what I thought was allergies. Dr Depew almost immediately thought it wasn’t allergies but rather mange. After skin tests it was confirmed he had sarcoptic mange. I was obviously super upset because I had taken Blu off his simparica trio for the winter months because I figured he couldn’t get fleas or ticks. I was wrong in my thinking because Simparica Trio wouldn’t have prevented the mange as well. Dr Depew was so kind and reassured me it wasn’t my fault but I knew it was because of the decision I made.
