About Grandview Cemetery
Grandview Cemetery has received mixed reviews from visitors and families of the deceased. Some express deep disappointment regarding the maintenance of private mausoleums, highlighting issues with overgrown weeds and unreturned calls from management. An 85-year-old visitor shared her heartbreak over the lack of compassion and care, contrasting her experience with previous management. However, following a meeting with the new General Manager, there is hope for improvements, as he is committed to addressing these concerns and enhancing the cemetery's upkeep. On a more positive note, several visitors have noted that the cemetery grounds are generally well-kept, with regularly mowed grass and improvements in the overall appearance. One visitor appreciated the kindness of the staff during their visit to finalize details for a crypt. However, many have pointed out the poor condition of the roads, which detracts from the cemetery's beauty. Overall, while there are areas needing improvement, some visitors feel hopeful for a brighter future under the new management.
Molly in the office was excellent when I visited and found my family’s graves buried under a fallen tree in April 2025. I think a new company has taken over recently so the staff had not been around too long. She came to the site with me, called the manager and maintenance lead and they took my concerns seriously and fixed the situation as quickly as possible. Molly stayed in touch with me and reported the progress regularly and sent pictures. They did a good job fixing the situation and making it right and restoring dignity to the gravesites. It is so upsetting seeing a loved ones grave in disrepair and they were responsive when I brought it to their attention. Molly...read full review
It is totally heartbreaking, if you have a private mausoleum they do not clean the grounds, your loved ones lie in total weeds, your calls are never returned, my heart is broken, my late husband and I Spent so much with love for our eternal home, it’s a heartbreak to see and entirely unfair, cemetery is considered Sacred ground, not shown here! Have been visiting deceased loved ones for many years at Grandview Cemetery and also own 2 lots there. Cemetery is well kept and grass is always cut. My only complaint is the roads. They are terrible. When my Father was buried there 11 years ago, I commented on the terrible condition of the roads and was told they were going to be repaired “soon”! Please fix the roads. It really takes away from how nice the cemetery is. Thank you!
