Short and sweet. Shumake stands above their competitors. Whole home Generac has installed. By the time the other folks even got back to me, I had accepted the Shumake proposal and had my generator installed. Then, the icing…… both of the other companies sent estimates WAY higher than Shumake and wanted to change how I needed the project done. I’ll never look elsewhere for this type of work.

Shumake Electric installed my whole house generator in the fall of 2025. After researching both Kohler and Generac, I opted for Generac as the bettter option for me. George at Shumake went over all the details, and their pricing was inline with the other quotes I received. I choose Shumake Electric based on George’s excellent communication, great response time, reasonable installation lead time, favorable financing terms as an option, and I felt they would have the best response time on service needs that may come up in the future. I recently had a Generac whole house generator installed by Shumake Electric LLC & have been impressed by how well my experience was from the start. My salesman was professional & knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions and never once did I feel pressured into signing anything. The gentlemen who came to my house for the installation were also professional & knowledgeable & made sure that nothing was left undone. They made sure everything was working before they left & that I understood how everything worked.
