I had an excellent experience with the care provided to our dogs. This was my first time with the TCI process, and Dr. Lopate and Dr. Wu were exceptional to work with, guiding us through each step with clarity and professionalism.
Our dogs are incredibly important to us, and their patience, compassion, and genuine care truly stood out. We will absolutely continue working with them and have complete confidence in their expertise

Smart, helpful cheerful

I am so grateful to Dr. Cheryl Lopate for her exceptional care and confidence in treating my cat. When other specialists hesitated and gave uncertain answers, Dr. Lopate was able to quickly confirm that my cat still had one ovary left after a previous surgery. She assured me she could fix the issue—and she did exactly that with great skill. Her professionalism, knowledge, and confidence gave me peace of mind during a very stressful time. I highly recommend Dr. Lopate to anyone looking for a compassionate and highly capable veterinarian.

Best vet in town

I have taken my pets to this clinic for 40 years. I grew up in a bird dog family and my father was a longtime friend to Dr Ray Calkins who has long since retired. The team at Wilsonville Vet clinic have outstanding clinical competence and work to keep their prices reasonable and accessible to the greatest possible number of members in their community.

My beloved flame point cat Boober is slowly dying from advanced renal disease and I make the three hour round trip to Wilsonville from Hillsboro twice a week because their gentle handling procedures make it less traumatic for him than us giving him subcutaneous fluids at home.

The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, courteous, and helpful. I cannot imagine ever taking my pets anywhere else!

I've been taking my furry babies all the way to Wilsonville for 15 years. I don't mind the 45 minute drive from Hillsboro because the customer service, pricing and skill at this veterinarian office is by far the best!! We tried one during Covid that was closer but they couldn't compare to Wilsonville so we came back and I'm so glad we did!!! They always treat our Lincoln like the King Baby he is and I couldn't ask for more!!!

Update; My dog has seen Dr. Tepper the most and he is awesome, super knowledgeable, gives many options. I also really like that he’s gotten on the floor too with my pup and shes not a small pup. I’m so glad I decided to bring my pup Daisy back here. They have called to check in on my pup after the two times she’s gotten cytopoint to see how she’s doing. That means a lot to me. I look forward to continuing to work with your amazing staff for continued care of my pup.

Best vet office ever! I cannot recommend Wilsonville Vet Clinic highly enough! I have never had a bad experience & have been coming here for years with multiple pets. Every single tech & vet is incredible & amazing with the animals. They’ve gone through speciality training to make sure the exam room is a calming & safe space for everyone. I have a very, very anxious dog & every time we pull up, she starts making noise & can’t wait to get out to see everyone. Again: highly, highly recommend:)))

Wilsonville Vet truly cares about every individual patient. I always feel like I’m the only person there when they help us. They’re patient and do a great job of following up on Check in’s.

I had already let this whole situation go but the lady that owns this clinic who is also the head vet, her name is Cheryl, just won’t stop pushing at my beloved animals expense, so here we go….

I highly recommend you avoid this vet.

It’s really really unfortunate because the staff is the best. They are all amazing! But the decision maker…the main vet…has an ego issue - she simply can’t be wrong. I’m sure you’ve dealt with doctors like that before - they don’t listen - they are cold - and you feel helpless trying to change their mind.

Cheryl, you and I are the only ones who know the truth of what unfolded. How you denied prescribing my cat a non-narcotic prescription who was having multiple seizures back to back to back in a week (falling off furniture and hurting himself) to try and force us to spend thousands on unnecessary and physically dangerous tests, after spending around 1k revealing perfect blood work. How you knew nothing about Persian genetics and how they often have seizure disorders. How you publicly tried to respond to my old review saying you’d help us…while behind the scenes denying a refill of said medication to treat a life threatening need.

I deleted the first review I left here because I felt bad, and I thought I’d extend a helping hand and squash it.

Then she turns around and denies my cats seizure med refill?

I hope the time I am taking to share this experience helps someone avoid the same scenario.
