This is the best salon I’ve ever been to. I will go nowhere else. Melody did my color correction beautifully. I had a bad experience somewhere else. I left The other place crying. I went here to get my color correction and my cut fixed And style before my golf tournament. I felt beautiful again. They know their stuff and have many years experience. You won’t be sorry definitely use this place. Then I went from dark to blonde in 3 1/2 hours. They also do beautiful updos and different hairstyles for events. If you show them a picture they can do it.! They have a AVeda products for good prices. Melody and Maya are attentive and do the best to make you happy. I highly recommend this place.

I have been going to West Linn Hairport for about 14 years, off and on, due to a recommendation from a friend in college. I've loved the culture and kindness I always find at West Linn Hairport, and find myself constantly returning as they have felt like home base. Three weeks ago I received a haircut from Shay, a very sweet and new stylist. I am a mom with a 21 month old and just turned 5 year old, so getting time for myself is very hard to do. Shay was cutting my hair and I asked her to thin it for me a bit too, since I have extremely thick hair. I have had this process done many times, and assumed this time would be exactly the same. Unfortunately, Shay took it upon herself to try a 'new technique' without telling me what it was, asking if I was ok with it, nor (I later found out) had she ever tried doing it. I was her first attempt. She took strips about a finger length wide and cut my hair to my scalp all over my head. I was so shocked when I realize what had been done. I am a very tactile individual and the feel of a buzz cut is like nails on a chalkboard to me, and when I run my fingers though my hair that is all I feel. I was so upset and in a state of disbelief and hate to complain or cause trouble, but I now hate the feel of my hair and have to try to pretend it didn't happen just so I don't hyper focus on it. The worst part is one of these finger-length buzz cut strips was done at the very top, back of my head, and I now have a tiny strip of hair that will be growing from the top of my head for however many years it takes to grow out. I just can't believe a professional would do this, and am very disheartened that my 'home base' hair studio is somewhere I just can't step foot in anymore. Posting this to give warning to always ask what your hair stylist is doing with your hair if it is someone newly out of beauty school, or if they haven't cut your hair in the past.

Nema cut my grandma's hair today. She was truly WONDERFUL!! Explained everything very clearly and made my grandma feel so pretty & taken care of. I really appreciate how much she helped with basic tips of washing her hair often, brushing it daily, and how to style it on her own. I cannot recommend WL Hairport enough! I also have gotten haircuts here in the past and they always do an amazing job.

Beware: I was charged $55.00 for a basic haircut...I have never paid anything close to that and I am 55 years old. It is true , I did not ask about the price ahead of time...as I was unaware of such an expensive haircut.
I can't afford to pay 55 dollars for a basic haircut thus I will not return to this business.

I've been seeing Cheryl for over 40 years. She's an excellent stylist. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my crummy thin hair. I walk out feeling like a million bucks! Wonderful up to date friendly salon!
