I am compelled to share my experience with Dr. Steven Gabel, a true expert in the field of Hair Restoration Surgery.I'd like to emphasize that I don't fit the typical profile of someone seeking hair restoration surgery because I've never been excessively focused on my appearance or inclined towards vanity. Nevertheless, the gradual loss of my hair from my early twenties onwards had started to affect my confidence. I came in 7 years ago with an aggressive receding hairline. No surgery was done, just fiinasteride and Rogaine, my hairline is completely restored, 0 side effects. Dr gable did not push restoration surgery as he said I did not need it, I could not be happier! I very much recommend! Contact immediately if you’re like me and don’t want to go bald!

Really helpful, objective, and knowledgeable. After I said I liked how I looked with a shaved head I ended up doing a few weeks before appointment and would only be interested if I could have a full head of hair, he let me know that I would probably be unsatisfied with results but would be willing to do it, but was realistic on how much it could actually do. I respect he went against own monetary interest to recommend what would be best for me

Dr. Steven Gabel practices exclusively hair restoration in the Portland area. As of January 1, 2023, he has been elected as the Vice President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons, and next year will the President of the organization. He is the only physician in the State of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho to be recommended by the American Hair Loss Association, and to be admitted to the International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons, which is a organization by and for consumers that recognizes that not all surgeons are equal in their skills and techniques in hair restoration surgery. He travels throughout the world lecturing on current topics in hair restoration and hair loss.
