Annette has saved us more times and in more ways than we can count. Worth every penny. There's so much regarding taxes that we don't know that we don't know, and her expertise has kept us out of trouble more than once - and she even caught something on a rental property that went yearrrrsss back that she was able to get adjusted and save us thousands of dollars. She's direct and no BS, but I don't see a lot of people write negative comments on men who are like that, so maybe take a minute to set your own expectations when dealing with a smart and assertive woman who is helping you with your finances.

We have relied on Account Tax for about eight years. The whole team is helpful, personable and all about getting our finances organized and processed on time. We have yet to be dissatisfied in any way. The IRS has never asked for any follow up, our refunds and payments are always accurate to the penny.

Annette Sarinen is the worst. She told me to not pay my tax debt. And that she would fix it 3 years later I owe 30 thousand and have to make monthly payments she doesn’t do anything and takes your money. Run away from her please be careful. She forgets and argues with you.

Agree with other 1-star reviews. Caveat Emptor=Buyer Beware! The owner, Annette, didn't even have the courtesy to show up for our appointment! The most incompetent, rudest, most mannerless rip-off artists I've encountered. Absolutely most I've ever paid for tax preparation. For them to copy exactly what information I provided from the previous year. They pad their coffers by sending 'free to them' emails to ask inane questions about the info in front of them that has already been discussed at our initial 'meeting'. They don't make calls to clarify and never return customer calls. I've filed a complaint against their license!

Annette- Zero communication, unprofessional, incompetent and rude. Annette is not well versed in tax prep of any complexity. Her tax prep would have triggered an unnecessary (confirmed by outside CPA) taxable event in excess of $120,000 but apparently she didn’t care, as she would not even respond to my repeated calls and emails. She and her team make it a habit to not reply to emails and phone messages. Her staff will not answer any questions, nor will they transfer your call. They take a message which never gets a reply. Look elsewhere for you tax prep needs.

I have been a loyal client for years. They have always been a bit on the expensive side but they were always prompt and concise. This year was my last year with them. About 6 weeks before the tax filing date I provided them with detailed tax spread sheets - not unlike prior years. At tax deadline they (paid) for an extension ( I have never filed late ). I was lead to believe the extension was precautionary. Almost a month after the deadline they finally completed my return (apparently I was waiting for Dan - our tax preparer to return from vacation). After all was said and done, I am waiting to see what I owe the Fed and State for late tax payments. To top it all off, the cost for my tax preparation, with virtually no income/expense changes, went from $540 in 2020 to $650 for 2021 - and that is after a $50 "courtesy discount". Unreliable, Unprofessional, Overpriced. If you want to avoid the mental anguish associated with timely tax preparation then go somewhere else.
