Our gas furnace stopped heating, but the fan continued to work. Over the weekend so we set up heaters in several rooms to compensate temporarily. I troubleshot most of the limiter controls. I called Able heating and cooling, and they sent someone over quickly. James arrived and found the issue within 10 minutes. It was the overtempt limiter that I could not find. He had to get the part. After he returned and replaced it he continued to give a full diagnostic on my furnace. It seems my blower motor capacitor is reading low but is still working for now. I will have to get that replaced at some time.
