On a road trip in the Columbia River Gorge (Oregon) and had several mechanical needs for our two road bikes. SPR Bikes (in The Dalles) was open when all the other shops were closed. I found owner, Calvin, to be highly knowledgeable about the issues we had. He provided options and recommendations, but deferred to my preference so I could choose the best solution based on my priorities. Calvin is an excellent mechanic. My bike needed a complete overhaul and he checked every inch of my bike. It was like riding a new bike. I will be using him as my mechanic moving forward. .

Came in because I thought I needed a new brake rotor. Rotor got checked out, tweaked a smidge and recommended I try adjusting my calipers. Did the trick and saved me from scrapping a good rotor for a new one. The shops that save you money & give you great tips are the best! Will be back any time I need bike stuff in the Gorge.
