My 13 year old daughter was assigned the intimidating project of building her own school computer. We chose to go to AMT because we figured that although it was likely to cost more than big box stores, we would have the advantage of knowledgeable staff. We were very excited to see that the pricing was not only competitive, but the staff actively looked for ways to save us money. There was never any pressure to upgrade items. In fact there were a few things we had chosen that they suggested we would not need. The owners, family, and staff are all extremely helpful. We set up a time for my daughter to learn to build. Steve (one of the owners) spent several hours helping her one on one. She left with a fully operational computer that she had chosen the parts for and built herself. By the time we left, we felt like we were one of the family! Thank you AMT for giving us such a fantastic experience! A++ for knowledgeable staff, great customer service, quality products, and community support! We will be back.
I’m not a tech savvy person and so appreciated the help I received from Steve & Sarah when I called and visited the store for the items I needed. Pricing on items was good and they do have a return policy. Happy that we have a local family owned store right here in Sherwood. If I ever need any other computer related items I will definitively visit AMT. On a side note check out the pictures of their display shelves/tables, which were hand crafted by the owners with locally sourced materials.
