I booked an appointment for my boyfriend to get his hair cut, he sounded well mannered over the phone, we ended up being a little late because of traffic, only for him to tell us that he cancelled our appointment and gave us a pep talk about showing up late to our appointments. (WE WEREN'T PURPOSEFULLY LATE!!!) But since we were there he would cut my boyfriends hair anyway, he sounded so annoyed as he said it, was not welcoming at all. My boyfriends hair was HORRIBLE after he walked out. We showed him reference photos of what he wanted and he said he could do it. HE COULD NOT. Calvin is awesome! Did a great job on my skin fade; I received compliments right away. Extremely personable, professional, and skilled. I had been nursing along a seriously grown out pixie cut with clippers and crossed fingers—the fade really elevated it and was such a welcome change. I felt like such a baller. The cut is super clean so as it’s been growing out, the gradient being spot on, just looks like a new cut every week. Will definitely be back. I readily recommend this shop. Support small businesses, especially so when the service is excellent.

Definitely a very nice place to get a cut from. John David is an excellent barber that really knows what is best for me, and is just a genuine joy to chat with while getting a cut. I hate getting haircuts, but he really knows how to make the experience so much better.
