About Salem Clinic
Salem Clinic is a one-stop-shop for quality medical care, praised for its attentive and intuitive doctors. Patients appreciate the seamless communication and immediate attention they receive, with no miscommunications or need for follow-up appointments. The OB/surgery department also receives positive feedback for its helpful and niceness. Overall, patients are extremely satisfied with the care they receive at Salem Clinic. Patients mention an amazing team of doctors, and some find their primary care physician caring and competent. The My Chart portal allows for communication and rapid response. However, if you have an emergency, being seen by a doctor or PA can be difficult, as an appointment is needed for urgent care, and appointments are offered hours or even a day later.
My partner recently went in for an extremely bad sore throat, where it has been really painful for her to swallow. She was told to stay in her vehicle, which is understandable due to the risk of covid-19 and variants. Unfortunately the staff was very rude. Borderline hostile. He then refused to look at her throat, the reason for her visit, listened to her lungs, and deemed it bronchitis....read full review
Here I see Kelly Donavan, Steven Samawi, and John Daniels. They are an amazing team of doctors I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, it’s hard finding a good OBGYN that truly cares to dive into all of your concerns and figure out the root of any issue that arises. In addition to that, John Daniels has been my primary doctor since moving to Oregon at six years old and he’s just truly been such an amazing person to trust with making sure I am healthy and my daughter as well as anything else need be!
My 3 star rating is an average of 4 stars for non urgent care. My primary care physician is caring and competent. However, if you have an emergency, being seen by a doctor or PA , Salem Clinic deserves 1 star or less. In order to be seen in the Urgent Care clinic, you need an APPOINTMENT ! After your long time on hold, you will be offered an appointment several hours or even a day later. Basically, Salem Clinic has a no idea what the word "emergency" means.
