This Petco location offers a full-service veterinarian hospital with routine exams and emergency surgeries. The store has an excellent choice of bird food, dog treats, and dog toys, and is always clean and tidy. The grooming salon is amazing, with a team that is honest and has the pets' best interests in mind. Prices are competitive and staff are nicer, though sometimes not helpful with accurate animal care information. Some customers report frustration with inconsistent stock of specific dog food. The location has experienced early closures due to staffing shortages, but staff have been understanding. Many customers report always getting good treatment and feel their pets are in the best hands.
I liked this store a lot. However it's quite expensive. I bought k9 advantage II, a 5.4 Oz bag of Good n Fun tripple flavor twists, and 2 dog toys for $75. The toys were plain squeaky ones some with rope but all the really cool ones were way out of my price range. Great service. They were incredibly nice. Helped me decide what flea meds would be best for me. Calm atmosphere. Layout of the store was great, all similar things together. I would only be able to visit this store if I get another gift card. This was from my health services for having my well visit. If I were rich I would go there all the time tho.
The closed early due to staffing shortage. But the lady watching the door saw me, saw that I was frustrated, and let me get my dog food. I was very thankful. Honestly, I always get good treatment at this location.
Prices are competitive now and the counter people are nicer. Not so helpful with accurate animal care information. It hurts my heart to see the animals there but life is about commodity I suppose.
