Dr. Helwig and her staff were so very kind when it came time to say goodbye to our sweet Silas kitty. The doctor and staff are knowledgeable and really care about the pets. They treat them like they are their own.

Brandi has Multiple Myeloma. Dr. Helwick has been her vet since she was a puppy. But lately the service has been disappointing. It seems I rarely get to speak to Dr. Helwick rather the office staff, they don't return calls, and fail to send lab work as requested to Brandi Oncologist. I did not know till recently, they do not have internet service in the office, really? Brandi is not doing well, so no time to switch vets. It is unfortunate, Dr Helwick seemed to always do a pretty good job until lately, and it really bothers me I can't be with Brandi behind closed doors.

Probably over a decade ago now, but still crosses my mind often... Our cat had been hit and was fairly injured.. dislocated hind legs and such. Not only did they take her in without taking payment beforehand, but they let us do a payment plan for the entire bill. It totaled a little over $2000, and we paid it off according to the agreement. They also helped another pet of ours, a doggo, when she kept having skin problems... Causing her to constantly "dig" at her back area.. in turn causing her to have sores.
