Havana Salon is a Paul Mitchell Focus Salon located in downtown Salem, Oregon, with over 15 years of experience and dedication to hairdressing. As a Brazilian Blowout Certified Salon, it specializes in hair design, platinum blonding, invisible bead method weft hair extensions, tape-in extensions, designer hair cutting, and full color correction. The staff is so kind and helpful, and the salon is warm and inviting. Gerardo and Elisha are magnificent stylists who do a phenomenal job and provide spectacular results. It had been years, maybe even a decade, since getting my hair professionally cut, and I was not disappointed at all getting it cut by Gerardo. He knew exactly what I was looking for with layers, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I love that I get taught how to keep my hair healthy as well, and my hair has never been better! The overall environment of the salon is great, and you always feel welcomed and comfortable.
Loved Gerardo! Such a sweet and caring individual. He really cares about your hair and puts lots of care into you when you sit in his chair. Asks questions and makes sure you are both on the same page before starting.
I’ve never had my hair come out so soft and healthy after a cut and actually look how I wanted it to. My hair is straight and not that thick. It was also pretty unhealthy so he really did give it a new life and made it so soft and bouncy lol.
He also speaks Spanish which is an added bonus for my Latinos! :)
Gerardo was excellent. He gave me an amazing haircut that I love. He was warm and welcoming. He took time to understand my hair and the products I use. Then he customized the treatment and haircut to my needs. The atmosphere at Havana is relaxed but upscale with a botanical feel. If your looking for a great cut from someone who loves what they do look no further Havana is the place.
