I dont think I have ever been so disrespected by a Provider before today. I do not recommend Umpqua Health Newton Creek especially James Cook FNP. I asked if he could order labs for my daughter, and he acted like I was asking for opiates for an active addict. He whipped toward me and said “we don’t do that in urgent care “ like I was a bug needing to be squashed. Before that, I told him as a concerned mom her pain had been lasting the last 8 months at least, because, my daughter tends to be shy. He snapped at me “let her answer the question.” I was like, okay fair, i can let that slide… I can order her labs on QuestHealth, I was just hoping to let insurance cover it and not pay out of pocket, and they are ROUTINE labs. (CBC, CMP, A1C, Lipid, Iron and Vit D) He walked out ignoring me. So absolutely disrespectful. Don’t go here unless you enjoy being treated like utter crap.

Surprised about all the negative postings. I have always had the very best service and professionalism. 5 star

My 17 year old daughter had been having stomach pains for weeks. They told her she had a UTI and gave antibiotics. Several trips back and 3 different antibiotics, and she was still in pain. After waiting over an hour in the urgent care waiting room, we decided to go to Evergreen instead. Once seen, they told us she DID NOT have a UTI but actually had a yeast infection and that the antibiotics Umpqua Health had given were making it worse! This was several weeks of her being in pain and them not diagnosing correctly. I will never take her back there again!

Unprofessional and Disappointing Experience
Avoid Dr. James Hoyne if you can. While he initially came across as friendly, his demeanor changed abruptly during the appointment becoming dismissive, inattentive, and rushing us out well before my elderly in-laws scheduled time was up. It was confusing and upsetting how quickly the atmosphere shifted from relaxed to uncomfortable. We left feeling unheard and disregarded, which is especially troubling when it comes to healthcare. A doctor should listen to their patients and show basic respect and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not our experience with Dr. Hoyne. To make matters worse, Umpqua Health informed us that they were not allowed to switch to another provider within the clinic. It's incredibly disheartening to feel trapped with a doctor who does not meet basic professional standards. If this is representative of how Umpqua Health operates, it's definitely time to seek care elsewhere. I strongly advise others to consider different options for their medical care.

Ravin Weeks is incredible. This morning I took my son to urgent care. He saw Dr. Cook, he was absolutely horrible. First thing out of his mouth was so you have schizophrenia! I was so shocked, that was the worse thing any doctor can say to a patient, especially one he has not see before or worked with.

if i could give no stars i would went with a friend to his appointment today and his doctor snap at him and curse at him due to my friend telling him the specialist was telling him something different then his doctor and he was trying figure out what to do his doctor told him he wasn't hearing him and my friend said the same back then the doctor said he needs to see a new doctor that he dont take this bullshit from anyone and told us to leave when his doctor knows he has seizure due to stress so snapping at him was going to have him go into one and he did when we left he had a seizure he know his patient has a disability and need to explain things very clearly but instead he snap and cost him to have a episode very unprofessional and inappropriate behavior

They can use authority and neglect the patient when the patient know what needs to be done then they will excuse you from the practice for no good reason thanks
