Stopped by as a drop in from out of state. Mats are clean, the team is welcoming and instruction is top notch. Good vibes and lots of experienced grapplers. If you’re local (or just passing through) - look no further!

Ryan is by far the best Judo and Jujitsu instructor in Douglas County. I have been able to compare and contrast with the other dojo in town. Hands down, the skill set, experience, instructors and the students level of understanding and the practicality of Ryan’s program will better suit you in REAL LIFE scenario in my opinion. This dojo is also very practical on cost and affordable! Thanks Ryan for always having your door open! Scott

I’ve been doing BJJ on and off since 2002. I’ve been to many gyms over the years, with varying degrees of quality and professionalism. PMAA is by far the best. The curriculum is well thought out and relevant, with clear expectations on the students. The kids class is very strong, and has produced some super tough competitors.Ryan’s technical level is high, with an emphasis on concepts and small details (the stuff that actually allows BJJ to work against a resisting opponent).Personally, my technical skill has greatly improved since I joined, and all the credit goes to PMAA. I would not hesitate to recommend PMAA to both experienced athletes and beginners alike.
