Maria butchered my hair. Actually, saying that is an insult to butchers, because they make clean cuts. She promoted herself to me as being someone with a lot of experience with thick, curly hair. For the first two hair cuts that seemed to be true and I trusted her. This last haircut is a hopeless mess. I even gave it a few days and a wash just to see if it needed to settle (that was my denial period). One side looks okay, but the other side has a giant portion taken off the top layer that makes it look like a half mullet. Those top pieces are about two or three inches while the rest of my hair is long. A teen in the midst of a mental breakdown cutting her own hair with a pair of kitchen shears in a dimly lit bathroom would have done a better job. I can't even put my hair up normally or braid it because the top pieces are about two or three inches long. I'll be wearing head scarfs for months. When I went back to show her, she gave me garbage excuses and wouldn't admit how bad it is let alone apologize. She made it look mildly, very minutely less bad (the hacked off top layer is now at least trying to pretend to be blended, but really I shouldn't have let her do it because it took even more length off. I was vulnerable and hopeful she would fix it.) but the truth is, there's no hope but to let it grow out for a year or more. Then she has the absolute, unrestrained audacity to recommend herself to me when I posted in a local group looking for stylists who could fix it, I'm guessing because she didn't recognize her work. I am absolutely devastated and don't understand why she did this to me.

OMG felt like I was at home, warm, welcoming, friendly, passionate about coloring hair, WOW I'm forever sold on this salon. Even the guests were great . Goes to show you when Jesus leads your life he'll lead you to the best.
