Uptown EyeCare has taken care of us for about 10 yrs now (family of 5). We've been seen for basic eye care, prescription glasses and sunglasses, progressive lenses, contact lenses, and medical conditions like Dry Eye. From the front desk, to Dr. Friberg to the optometrists, we have received great care. Dr. Friberg is friendly and knowledgeable, up to date with the latest treatments and medicines, and takes her time to explain everything and answer all questions. They have a good selection of frames and sunglasses. They make sure the lenses work for you, even returning and remaking if necessary, as done for the many iterations of my progressive lenses. Also, you can pop in for fitting adjustments to your glasses anytime, or at least you could pre-covid. (I would also like to note that I was worried at first about parking, but have actually NEVER had a problem parking in the lot for our appointments.) I highly recommend them!

Tom and I just enjoyed our first visits with the team at Uptown EyeCare and - even WITH all the constraints of COVID, PPE, etc., we agreed that it was the best experience we have ever had with optical exams and the selection and fitting of glasses. Each member of the team is wonderfully well prepared and trained. Their communication is so clear and professional, yet warm and friendly. We felt we had a better understanding of our eyes and what was going on with them than ever before. And the selection of glasses was nearly miraculous. Three frames to perfection. And now with the new glasses! The whole package! Best ever! 😊So happy!

The staff is great. They’re very patient with all of us showing up at the same time every year. Their service is excellent. My husband got the perfect glasses, perfectly adjusted and everything. We drive a long way to see them, and it’s totally worth it.
