DOPE AF!!! Sarah is the best at hair! She is awesome!! And I just love the vibe of the place! I love the location--not a crazy busy area and parking is always available. They actually have their own parking lot! Everyone there is pretty awesome and the music was great! I love their products and they offer a plethora of hair and skin services! If you haven't been, you need to go!
I have been going to Maria for several years, and she is great. Not only is she great but the salon is so calming, and everyone is so welcoming. I just signed up for several microneedling sessions with Jenny. I have tried this treatment with other aestheticism, but she is the best. She lets me know what she is doing and why. Very thorough and thoughtful. I am excited to get my next treatment. Additionally, the space is calming and beautiful.
Okay, I waited a few days to make sure I wasn't overreacting but nope, I still feel the same way about what happened here. I'm normally a pretty easygoing person but wow, I'm struggling to make my peace with this place. I sent my 17-year old in for a back to school full balayage. She had a picture of exactly what she wanted. I knew going in it would be pricey (the website lists this service between $130-$160) but I really wanted her to get the look she wanted. This place has stellar reviews so I thought we were good to go. This is the breakdown...she was charged $150 for the balayage, $40 for miscellaneous add-ons, $55 for a CUT (she didn't need one and she was told the stylist was just going to trim it, which is misleading IMO), and when she didn't know how much to tip, they advised her to check the 20% box...adding on another $49. Grand total? $294. And the kicker? Her hair BARELY looks any different!!! She wanted her hair lightened significantly but it's still just shades of brown/red. If she LOVED it maybe I wouldn't be quite as upset but wow, I can't believe it. I know, my bad for sending a teenager into a salon without me armed with my credit card, but their bad for taking advantage of it. What a horrible experience.
