I had my first ever facial at The Portland Girl and it was fantastic! The esthetician was very kind and gave me the option of talking me through everything she was doing or no talking to relax. I wanted to know what was going on so she explained things to me as necessary. It was very informative and so relaxing. She gave me suggestions for at home skincare based on my skin type and her observations, which I found very helpful. They have products you can buy in studio but I didn’t feel pressured to purchase them. They did give me a free sample of a product I was curious about! Update:Been going here for almost 2 years and I have yet to be dissapointed! Amazing service!I got the portland landing strip. I had never been waxed or sugared before. I was very nervous about being so vulnerable with somebody. However I was immediately put at ease by the friendliness of the staff and the adorable atmosphere. The pain was moderate and slowly got easier as it went on. There is no body shaming here, no negative talk. It's all about positivity and loving yourself. I have another appointment booked and I will only go here from now on. 5 stars!
After 3 fantastic experiences at the SE location, with Ebonee as my go-to sugar gal, I can now say I am hooked on The Portland Girl ??Good tunes, conversation, atmosphere, & a beautiful esthetician.
