I rented from ActivSpace Raleigh for 2 years and it was a pleasant experience. I love that you’re given a blank slate room to make whatever you please out of it. The building is locked which made me feel secure, especially being a woman and being there alone and at night. They were quick to do little things around the building when needed. But overall I didn’t have any issues renting from them. At the end of my rental agreement I brought the room back to how it was when I got it and they gave me back my whole deposit. I would highly recommend activspace if you are looking for an affordable place to run your business or have an office space.
Love the space I rent. Even through 2020, I still feel like it is a clean environment to do my work, big shout out to the workers cleaning and maintaining the building. Some tenants come and go, but the space remains an eclectic and active work space. (Side note: I love watching the puppies come and go in the businesses across the parking lot from my window.)
I think these spaces are really wonderful for new business owners, as it provides a great starting point for artists to create their own space and start building their brand. You can customize your space however you see fit which is really lovely. I really enjoyed turning my room into my dream space.
