I've been coming here, admittedly sporadically, for years.
I have always been impressed with Alex. I have taken lessons with champion level dancers in a few styles, and Alex is even among their highest tier/second to none in instruction.
More important than that, the love comes through, which is no small miracle.

I visited here MANY years ago -maybe 50! smile. It was awhile ago anyway ; ) I want to visit again! YES too long (since before the ‘plague’) that I danced! It’s hard to consider dancing again; I’ve lost so much time but I recall this space as warm, welcoming and friendly! And the physical space is also very engaging / ‘bohemian-cool’….and just so perfect 😍
The group classes here are exceptional because of the commitment to excellence in teaching and due to a safe, supportive and collaborative atmosphere and vibe. Expect to come learn how to both lead and follow Argentine tango. The Saturday night Milonga social dances are also remarkable events, frequently featuring live music with some Portland’s best local tango musicians and occasionally internationally renowned artists.
