This specialist came highly recommended to me through a facebook group for dogs with IBD. My little angel Lana had immune-mediated IBD (irritable bowel disease), PLE (protein losing enteropathy)/intestinal lymphangiectasia, iatrogenic Cushings syndrome, and frequent secondary infections with UTIs. She was an extremely complicated case when it comes to internal medicine and I couldn't ask for better treatment than she received from Dr. Klaser and Jennifer Jones - they were extraordinary to work with, very compassionate and understanding, and gave us an extra year with our baby girl. A great specialist veterinary hospital with emergency hours. Our regular vet referred us to Sunstone for additional specialized imaging that they couldn't perform. We were finally able to get a FLTUD diagnosis through elimination, and get our cat the anxiety medication she needed to reduce urinary tract inflammation and resolve peeing outside the litter box. Everyone's happy now.
We can’t thank Sunstone enough ! From our first apt with Dr Klaser where she found a large mass in our dog Gimlis abdomen via ultrasound - she explained our options throughly and we never felt rushed she took the time to go over results. Then to Dr Su who did the surgery she took the time to meet with us and explain the surgery and potential outcomes and what to expect, along with the great vet techs ( sorry I don’t remember your names! ) it wasn’t the biopsy results we were hopping for ( even though both vets were thinking it most likely wasn’t good ) it turned out being Hemangiosarcoma but Gimli is now a month post surgery and he hasn’t been this perky ,...read full review
