I started taking up the piano two years ago solo at 38. I wasn't really getting anywhere so I sought out a teacher. The past year has been a pleasant experience learning and making my way from a fumbling beginner. The environment is relaxed, the pieces i want to learn outside of the learning material is well received and we work a bit on it each session. Overall a good experience.

A few years ago, our family was invited to my son’s friend’s piano recital. I was so impressed by the students’ performances that I immediately asked for a referral for my two kids. My kids started lessons with Ms. Huffman 2.5 years ago, at ages 6 and 8, completely new to piano and to the Suzuki method.

Ms. Huffman is incredibly good with children. Over the past 2.5 years, they have learned so much, from basic piano skills, proper hand movement, and overall posture to now beginning to read music with confidence. Ms. Huffman is always very patient and a wonderful teacher and partner in the process. We highly recommend Ms. Huffman to any family wanting to explore...read full review

My son has been learning to play the piano with Ms. Huffman for over eight years, starting when he was 4. She is fun, patient, and inspiring! Under her teaching, my son not only learns to play the instrument but also develops a deep appreciation for the art of music. Ms. Huffman goes beyond teaching piano; she chats about different music eras, shares anecdotes about musicians, and explains the music theory behind a piece. I believe this holistic approach ensures that his love for music will stay with him for life. I highly recommend Ms. Huffman to anyone looking for a piano teacher.
