Stacey and the SYF team made sure our wedding was as close to how we imagined it, and prepared for rainy weather or unexpected schedule changes! The food was also just as delicious as advertised. From the earliest stages, Stacey made the planning process very clear and was always sure to let us know if there will be a delay in getting back to our questions. While new expenses came up, the discussion of the pros and cons of what those expense would provide was transparent. We recommend anyone and everyone to inquire to see if SYF is right for you. Just remember rain comes at any time in the PNW!
Google does not let me add as many stars as I'd want to for Stacey and her staff at Side Yard Farm and Kitchen. They were incredible for our wedding and reception, so attentive to our vision, and so lovely to work with at every moment, from start to finish.
The food:
All the guests cannot stop talking about the food! OMG, they knocked it out of the park, it was unbelievable. Every single detail was so clearly intentional and put together with pure love. I remember when we came to drop things off the day before the event, Stacey and a couple other staff were in the kitchen making gnocchi by hand. We had the perfect wedding here, with incredible food, atmosphere, and the nicest staff. Everyone here is extremely attentive and has an attention to detail that’s unparalleled. Despite the rain, Stacey and the crew created a magical environment for us, and created a space that ended up making us happier that it rained than if it didn’t.
Side note that we also get our vegetable starts for our garden here, so if you’re looking for quality starts, CSA boxes, or just attending any of their events, do it!
