10/10, highly recommend. Worked with Alex. Squad of 3, one of use had a session booked that day. My other friend and I hadn't planned on getting tatted; I am pretty picky in researching what to get / where to go. I've had this fine line Koi fish on my arm that hadn't quite matched the rest of my bolder tattoos. Been wanting to amp it up, just couldn't pinpoint what it needed. We flipped through Alex's book and, after seeing how well done our first friend's piece was, went for it! A lot of trust. Totally paid off. He stayed 1-2 hours past closing, was extremely friendly and supportive throughout the entire process. Clearly great at his job.

Decorated beautifully, very clean and again, the artists were incredibly kind.
We were in town and I called 30 minutes ahead of time, asking for a small flash tattoo. They said come on over. I met Alex, and he ended up making a custom arm piece on the spot. He tweaked it a few times until I was happy and it was perfect. His tattooing is gentle and quick and he keeps his space exceptionally clean. I told him solid fill can sometimes hurt so he kept me updated and checked in, but ultimately I didn't even notice he was on the fill. The other artists were also sweet and funny guys. It was a great atmosphere and I'll be back next time I'm in Portland.
