Steve and his amazing crew (Pedro is the best) have installed new roofs on TWO homes for me across the last 5 years. The most recent (this summer) was a beast of a job on a 1905 cottage that had no plywood underlayer and no access for his equipment.

Both jobs were completed on budget (less than any other bid), within DAYS, and with impeccable professionalism. The owner has the respect of his long-standing crew (and vice versus). That says a lot about quality of the work and integrity of business practices.

None of the negative reviews I read here (before hiring Portlandia) have anything to do with roofing. This company is 5-Star on all counts.

Yes I am a real customer who just had a roof installed. I usually don’t write reviews unless something goes terribly wrong or it was a particularly good experience. We’ve had our fair share of mini disasters with contractors but I’m happy to comment on the ladder.From the start Steve the owner was very responsive. He was the first company I contacted and so I waited to get 3-4 other bids before circling back to Portlandia. He had me come to current job sites to get a look at the shingles in person and answered all of my questions so I decided to give them the business. So glad we did. Steve and his crew installed new gutters and downspouts for me today, and they did SUCH a wonderful job! I am so impressed with the work and equally impressed with the communication and honesty. I HIGHLY recommend Portlandia Roofing, thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it!
