What can I say, I am extremely dental phobic. Just to support my comment, I was flying from Portland, OR to Orange County, CA for 5 years, 4 times a year to see my old dentist due to my fear of having to start with a new dentist (I know pretty crazy). However, it had become so expensive to fly and Uber to my dentist in Orange County, CA. I had to find a new dentist. I received a recommended to Dr. Kaveen Ranasinghe in July of this year and finally broke down to see him. He is a wonderful dentist and was very patient with my dental phobia. He spent a lot of time taking to me about my fears and how we could minimize any potential pain involved in my future dental work. Portland Dental has pain management options for even the most phobic patient like me. Also my dental hygienist (Jessica) is patient and gentle making my dental cleanings much easier to manage (she's the BEST). I would strongly recommended Dr. Kaveen (aka Dr. Ranasinghe) and his wonderful staff to all those dental phobic patients like me or anyone that just want a great dentist. Portland Dental is the best and I wanted to thank everyone for their patience and concern over my well being!
Portland Dental is my favorite dental office on earth and Lisa the dental hygienist is amazing and so is Laura and Kim at the front desk! Such amazing people and truly the only experience I would sign myself up for when it comes to my teeth!! ?
I can't recommend this office enough. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, especially because I was on a tight time limit due to losing my insurance. Lisa was my hygienist and she was AWESOME! So kind, fast, and approachable. I saw Dr. Ranasinghe and he was wonderful too. He was thorough and good at explaining what he was looking at/what he meant. They even have options for those without dental insurance. I hadn't been to the dentist in a VERY long time and unlike many dentists, nobody guilted me about it. They were just happy to see me and happy to help!
