Had the best experience at Plush. A lovely husband and wife team run this vegan, spotless shop. So kind, friendly, Toni was great helping me create the perfect tattoo. I’m so happy with the results!
I was looking to add on to a small tattoo I got in college of the play/pause/stop symbols, and make a minimalist VCR/Cassette player to honor my grandpa who used to tinker with electronics before he passed. Toni was eager to work on it and did a great job executing my vision. We had great conversation throughout the session, and Toni always checked in to make sure I felt comfortable and the tattoo was coming out how I liked. I’m very happy with the result and can’t wait to come back for my next piece!
I came into Plush very nervous for my first ever tattoo, and left having had the BEST experience!
I’ve got a lot of anxiety when it comes to needles, and I was really worried about how painful it would be—but Amber was so reassuring and open that the session was a breeze!
Amber was:
-open to any and all questions I had (and I had quite a bit!)
-so kind and accommodating when I suggested different ideas during the making of my stencil, and very clearly well versed in responsible fine-line (making sure that when the tattoo ages it will still look great!)
-gently walked me through the first bit of needle-work (which was not nearly as bad as I thought)...read full review
