My entire family has been taking our animals to Dr. Holmgren for 30 years. He's just the best there is. Decades of experience, doesn't try to do unnecessary things, gentle and practical. He and his wife are wonderful people. He'll be retiring soon and we are so sad, but also very grateful for everything he's done for us over the years. We'll never find another vet like him. He and his wife just can't be replaced ❤️

In rebuttle of the previous review by Timothy, Dr Holmgren is not at all a monster. Dr Holmgren is a kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, gentle, and caring vet who goes out of his way to help animals and understands and respects the love those who own pets have for their pets. For the last year I have been struggling with the reality that my dog has little time left. He has gone above and beyond to make my dog pain free without him being "drugged" up. Because of Dr Holmgren I have been given almost an entire year more with my best friend. Not only did he extend my time with my dog, but he coached me through the difficult process of having to make that dreadful decision. Today he will be helping me to free my friend of pain and me to say good-bye. I am forever grateful for Dr Holmgren's care and compassion for my best friend and me. He is not a monster, he is an angel.
