About OHSU Primary Care Clinic, Richmond
OHSU Primary Care Clinic, Richmond, has a mixed reputation among its patients. Many long-term patients appreciate the compassionate care they receive. One patient has been attending the clinic for over a decade and praised the blood draw experience, highlighting the skill of the technician. Another patient, a recovering addict, has been seeing the same doctor for nearly 15 years and values the non-judgmental and equal treatment they receive. The clinic is also known for its connection to the wider specialists in the OHSU system, which is very important to many patients. The staff here are very kind and friendly, and they have amazing communication, always able to get back to patients. Many patients feel the care from their PCPs is very attentive and helpful, with one describing their PCP as the only doctor who truly listens and wants to help. However, some reviews express frustration, mentioning that not all providers are as helpful, and that time management can be an issue, with some patients feeling their concerns are dismissed or that providers are often late for appointments. Despite these issues, the clinic shows some willingness to improve, as evidenced by a provider reaching out to address concerns. Overall, OHSU Primary Care Clinic, Richmond, is recognized for its compassionate staff and good communication, but it also faces challenges in time management and consistent patient care.
My new Provider here is a real blessing. She really wants to help me get better unlike other Dr's I've had in the past while on Legal Disability suffering with the worst excruciating pain ever. I have been having massive 10-15 Pain Episodic Cluster Headaches for over 6 yrs now & now I finally have some relief from these massive Brain Pain I have been experiencing. Now I'm smiling more & don't feel so angry all the time! Thanks alot OHSU for helping me now get better & not...read full review
Probably the best low-income clinic in the state. I've been treated here for over a decade. It doesn't get better than this. The staff here have high standards. I'm sure they make minor mistakes--all medical professionals do. (All humans do)
Folks, try to be grateful for these well trained and dedicated professionals--they work really hard for us, and they don't have to be working in a low income clinic.
I feel lucky...
I’m starting not to like this clinic, they had me waste my time by setting up an appointment. Be there for an hour just to tell me that they couldn’t do lead testing there, That I needed to go to The hospital on the hill
