This place takes quite a while, for good reason they are thorough with their work when it comes to this upcoming generation. Our kids deserve to see as well as possible and the doctors here take their time to access the sorce of the problem from within and find a way to help even when it seems like hope is all lost my daughter was diagnosed with this clinic before they opened their childrens branch and I can say after 10 years of coming here for my daughter it has only gotten better. Went to the adult retina clinic to see Dr. Lujan. OMG the best hospital experience I've had so far (and I'm a chronic illness person with heavy hospital use). From the moment I walked in, I felt seen and taken care of. The PAS in the front was so warm and attentive. The Physician Assistant that dilated my eyes and walked me through the process were so amazing. The technician that did my retinal scan was a hoot. I would've given 5 stars but we waited almost exactly an hour in the waiting room. The doctor was very apologetic for the wait. My daughter got a new Doctor here since hers retired. Dr.Summers is new to us and she was very patient and kind, informative also in a way my teenager can comprehend in a way that suits her age and life as being a teenager with visually disabilities is hard enough. That gained a lot of confidence with our family. My only things I I didn't care for was the doctors would say, "Look over there".
