Mid-K beauty and salon - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

I've been buying hair extensions since high school (about 15 years) and it used to be really hard to find them other than at Sally's (and you could expect to pay $$$). I've gone into Mid-K a few times over the years, especially before the building moved to the other side of the street and they just did not have much Remy hair for blondes. Flash forward to last weekend, I was going out of town for my bday and wanted some last minute extensions but didn't want to spend money on Sally's prices (who by the way only give you like 100 grams of hair in a pack). So I stopped by Mid-k with my fingers crossed.... When I tell you, THIS STORE WAS GLORIOUS. I literally could not choose between which hair I wanted. They had clip-ins, they had 30 inch ponytails, they had everything. Now I have never bought synthetic hair because I just never saw the point in doing that if I wanted to keep using them. But I got a pack of 7 clip-ins WITH highlights (also not very easy to find) for $22 and they looked real! Obviously I'm not going to be using them more than on-occasion. I actually bought another hair piece as well just because they were so affordable. Now onto customer service. I saw a younger Asian girl behind the counter who I wanted to help me just because I'm partially deaf so I already have a really hard time understanding people, now add masks and a thick accent to that and I might as well hear nothing haha. But anyway, she was busy so then this older Asian man came over toward me and I fully expected him to be annoyed that I couldn't understand or that I needed to see so many items up close to compare to my hair. But NOT AT ALL. The guy was so chill. So understanding and so helpful. He must have brought down 10 packs of hair from the wall for me and even helped me decide whether they were cool tone enough or warm enough for my hair . Moral of the story: this place is sick and I'm going there all the time from now on!

I've never purchased a wig before so I was already a little nervous about seeming completely clueless when walking in (which I was) and they were immediately so helpful! I needed a red lace front for my Halloween costume and two incredibly sweet gals helped me within seconds of standing at the counter and I was in and out within 15 minutes, and I left with exactly what I needed PLUS more. The store is enormous and they have a huge inventory, finding what you need will not be an issue. An amazing experience! Anybody needing hair or product etc. this place is it. Thank you!!!

I needed clip ins and I'm not sure who the woman was who helped me but she was SO nice and matched my hair almost perfectly for my price point. Thank you so much, I feel amazing for only 30 dollars.
