Merritt Health & Wellness is a health clinic with a nurturing environment, thanks to the dedication and compassion of its practitioners. Both the nurse practitioner, Lindsey, and the physician's assistant, Ali, provide exceptional and knowledgeable care in functional medicine. The clinic has a more holistic approach, offering supplements and focusing on well-being rather than relying heavily on medication. They accept OHP insurance and have been praised for their good bedside manner and skill level. The clinic, which has been serving patients since 2014, is located in a charming house in the Sellwood area. Lindsey has been particularly helpful in resolving SIBO issues for one patient.
I have mixed feelings about this clinic. I had great experience with Claudia. She has been very supportive with my conditions some being rare pineal gland cyst, kidney issues, mold recovery. I saw Ali first she was actually very rude, demeaning and didn’t send referral correct to get approved for neurologist/eye specialist. She was undermining and unprofessional. I like that this clinic is small, personal but given my experience with Ali, it has cost me time in getting treated.
Let me start off by saying, I worked with Seth, side by side, for close to 3 years. His work ethic and cate for patients is unmatched!! Some could say that I'm biased, but I'm not. I moved away for 4 years and came back only to learn my favorite provider went out on his own. And took some of the best practitioners with him. I see Ali, as Seth's practice was full. And I'm not one to use my 'I knew you when' card. Ali's phenomenal!!!! She's a great listener, she's validating, and she's not afraid to talk me off the ledge. Dr. Kristine Griess is great. She actually listens, so I feel like she and I are a team. She also has been known to respond to some of my emails on the weekend, which I would never expect any doctor to do.
