I loooove this school for on2 salsa, chacha, bachata, shines, footwork…everything really! Best latin dance school and teachers in pdx, and yes I’ve tried many others! (I prefer on2 as opposed to dancing on 1). Every single teacher is amazing and gifted at dancing as well as teaching proper technique. Great vibes, facility, professional dynamic, family owned business, champion dancers that swept first place, but also a school friendly enough for casual dancers. Highly recommend privates in addition to classes. Proud to be a part of Lines Dance Academy! They also host a social on the 4th Saturday of every month if you wanted to check it out!
LDA has outstanding instructors with a large community of dancers. Their Portland classes are frequent, plus their socials are all-levels friendly. They have classes in Hillsboro, too. They specialize in salsa, bachata, kizomba, and cumbia. You'll find the whole crew, dance studio and location (Pearl/Slabdown district) very addictive.
If you're looking to learn salsa in Portland, look no further! I started at Lines in early 2023 with absolutely zero dance experience, and I'm thrilled with my progress. I highly recommend their services to anyone, regardless of their current skill level!
