I have the cleanest teeth around now, which makes me so happy! My hygienist here is awesome. Dr Edwards and his assistant (Carly if I'm not mistaken?) did a phenomenal, extremely precise and careful job on my 1 tooth implant I just had finished. Which, I'd been nervous about after I mistakenly went to a 'holistic' dentist for that, which cost so much, and took very long to redo. I had to go to a perio specialist, then to put my zirconia implant crown on, Dr Edwards did a whole procedure to do that perfectly. And I'm very grateful to him that I can now chew normally and not worry about it anymore. Being born without an adult tooth is no picnic, but luckily there are pros like Dr E to help us out with these things in life.
I've been going to Laurelwood Dental for years and have always been very happy with the work of the dentists and hygienists. Prior to finding Laurelwood dental I'd had multiple bad dentist experiences. After complaining to a friend about a one particular bad crown by a dentist in downtown Portland my friend referred me to her dentist at Laurelwood. Im so glad I have finally found a place where going to the dentist doesn't give my anxiety like it used to. Both my husband and I get our dental care done here and highly recommend this practice.
I was a regular patient at Laurelwood Dental for about 7 years, seen by Dr. Edwards and Dr. Hall for various periods. I came in rough shape, having an infected root canal and crown that they attended and put me in good hands to resolve. After my implant via their referrals 5 years ago, my dental health has been pristine. Thanks to my hygienist, Stephanie, who is so kind, fun and thorough. I’m going to miss her now that I’ve moved. She’s very positive and an amazing person.
You do pay out of pocket as they’re not in any network, but I never regretted the extra dental insurance cost through my employer.
