Kim's Taekwon-Do Portland

My son takes lessons there and I plan to join him soon. Master Brown, Mr. Master Brown, and the other instructors are all highly skilled and knowledgeable about Taekwondo but also very patient and willing to work with students as much as they need to in order to help them progress in the sport. I don't think I would ever want to have my son go anywhere else to learn Taekwondo or any other martial arts, even though other schools are a little closer to us.

My daughter has been attending Kim’s Taekwondo for 6 years. I have watched her grow in confidence and skills as well as learning to be a leader. The Master’s Brown have created a space where kids not only learn taekwondo but how to apply those traits in the rest of their lives to be better members of society. The community is amazing to be a part of.

I began training there with my three children. Besides a fantastic workout, it has been an amazing bonding experience going on this journey with my children. The Instructors are of the highest quality and character I have ever experienced and influences the positive principles that Tae Kwon Do teaches into the children's' lives outside the martial arts school. With the children, they find a perfect balance between teaching, compassion, discipline and life balance that my children embrace. You meet amazing people, and from those who have trained for years ahead of me, I see lifelong friendships they have built. It is an amazing life experience for me and my family.
