I got a good quality haircut for a reasonable price, they were also efficient and it is tough to beat the convenience of the location. Good music and basketball games playing on the TV made for a good vibe.
For several years now I've gone here for a trim. The place usually has only a couple of employees so during the pandemic that was a big plus because of the small crowds.
It is walk in only, so sometimes it is take a ticket, and come back an hour later. Just don't try to come in the last couple hours it is open, it usually is booked til closing at the end of the day.
It is a no-nonsense mom and pop establishment and that was exactly why I like it.
I’m new to the area and spent quite a bit of time researching to find a barber. I wanted someone who accepts walk ins rather than having to book appointments. I happened to notice JG Barbers one day while driving by. After stopping and meeting Grace, I returned a day or two later.The shop is busy, but the wait is never too long. Grace is the best barber I’ve had in more than 20 years. She does a great job. The shop is extremely clean and everyone is very friendly.Rather than search for another shop while JG is temporarily closed, I am waiting impatiently for reopening on November 7.
