Had the pleasure of stopping by to visit our favorite barber, Brandon! Brandon cut my hair for 8 years in Denver and when I found out we were both going to be in Portland this summer, I booked a visit for me and the kiddo. We both got awesome cuts, as always, and I got my beard cleaned up. Always a fun hang with Brandon and Han, and it was nice to meet Curtis!
What a fabulous first experience with Curtis! I gave him very little information of what I wanted and he nailed it. Great cut and great beard trim. He is a super nice dude and has done a great job with this space. The neighborhood is better with local, small businesses like this. Great conversation about photography, music and more.
Be a good neighbor and go get your haircut!
Thanks - I will be back!
Curtis is a super-friendly barber who listens to his customers and gives great cuts. I have thick, wavy hair that some stylists have struggled with before; Curtis has done a great job with my hair, and my short cuts have always looked the best from him: clean sides and back with long-ish waves in the front. The shop has a vintage barbershop-feel, and is trans-friendly. The barber chairs are fat-friendly. I asked how Curtis works with neurodivergent folks, people with disabilities, and autistic kids. He let me know that he regularly gives them cuts, asks what has worked for them before, and has a lot of patience to support them.
