Coda is a beautiful space, lush with plants, diffused lighting and cozy hardwood floors. I specifically booked with Eva (who specializes in short cuts) to help me fix a bit of a chop job. Consultation was great; we figured things out together based on my hair type, the level of maintenance I was going for, and what we could reasonably achieve based on the current state of affairs. Eva was communicative throughout and just like, fun to chat with in general, and I walked out of there with a super cute bob I’m very happy with!

Coda is a beautiful salon with a team of talented stylists. I’ve been seeing Eva for years, following her from other salons, and I can’t recommend her enough. She was the 5th stylist I tried in Portland, and now I can’t imagine seeing anyone else.

When I first started with Eva, I had a pixie cut and was handling my own color. As I grew my hair out, she helped me through the awkward stages with great transitional styles. A few years ago, I switched to blonde after my hair went mostly gray, and Eva did an amazing job with a custom color that looks totally natural.

She’s also great about squeezing me in before special events. Highly recommend her!

Casey is absolutely wonderful to work with, this was my first haircut at a salon and he was spectacular with helping me figure out exactly what style I was looking for. He’s got major skills and is an amazing artist. On top of that, the communication about service, styles, and types of cuts that Albert provided prior to the appointment was an unexpected surprise. I felt incredibly cared for, heard, and will be coming back for my next cut as well as recommending Coda to anyone and everyone. Thank you all so much!
