I saw a negative review on here and I felt that I had to jump in to share my appreciation for this place. I love visiting Chic Salon, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and it is very clean. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a stressful morning at work. The Megan and Mario are incredibly skilled, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Chic salon is connected to Mirabella Portland which makes it a convenient place for its residents to visit. Amazing experience!!! I've seen Megan a handful of times and she's so sweet and kind and attentive. She helps me achieve something I love every time. She's very personable and I've witness her have great patience for other clients. She's a very talented hairstylist and nail artist! It's BIPOC owned and Mario, the owner, is always so nice whenever I come in! I highly recommend this salon. It's clean and has lots of natural light and plants which makes it feel welcoming and comfortable.
Mario is a highly-skilled, creative, and perceptive hair stylist who listens to what a client wants and delivers great results. If what a client wants won’t work, he explains why and gives a workable alternative, often better than what I had envisioned.
Requested style: Bobs in several lengths, more layered cuts in several lengths.
Hair type: Straight, medium-thick, uncolored hair.
Stylist: Mario. Excellent cutter and stylist.
