I really love the vibe here. The atmosphere is so chill and they serve complimentary beer & wine (plus coffee & tea) while you wait and the music is always good. Both my husband & I have been coming in to see Sarah T. for a long time now. I love how affordable it is and yet you leave looking fresh AF. No pink tax, ladies! Everyone is so nice, professional & cool! Thanks for being my favorite place to get my hair cut. 💕
This is the absolute best haircut I have ever gotten - Kathleen Stewart is a phenomenal stylist: she understands not only how to cut all different hair types but she listens. She not only asked me what I wanted for my ideal hair cut but she asked questions like, "how often do you wash your hair, do you style it, with what, which way do you part your hair" etc. When I explained that I hate when stylists cut too many inches and take away too much length she nodded understandingly. My hair was also really dry at the ends, she recommended a hair masque instead of saying I have to cut it all off. I have extremely thick, long, wavy hair (oh hay), and when I don't style it my hair gets crazy poofy and unmanagable. I told Kathleen to take weight off my hair and add layers around my face. This is the first haircut I wanted to buy a new outfit and go out to a fancy dinner vs just go home and try to wash it and make it look better as the disappointment sinks in. Kathleen is now my new barber for life. To the point where if I moved I would have to find a way to fly back to Portland so I could get my fresh cut from her. (Okay lets be real I would probably kidnap her). P.S. Warning: Kathleen is freaking awesome to hang with and talk to in the chair so don't be surprised if you spill your whole life in minus 30 mins.
CHAMPION of head massages, QUEEN of long layers. Kathleen was recommended to me by a friend and she definitely did not disappoint. She knows what she is doing and she is also a great listener. I wanted to keep as much length as possible while cleaning up my dry ends, and she made sure that I got exactly what I wanted!
