I just received the BEST haircut ever from Jaime Jean. I am new to Portland and did my research on a salon I felt wouldbe a good fit. I felt confident walking in the door from the stellar reviews on various websites that Jaime Jean would understand my weird curly-in-some-places/frizzy-straight in others hair. Well...she more than exceeded my expectations and I am loving my new cut and style. At the pre-cut consultation she asked lots of questions, then meticulously cut layers to address my issues. She also provided great education going forward on how to deal with my hair struggles, I have had lots of compliments on my new style and will definitely be a returning customer. Finding a stylist who is good at color and who also knows how to work with fine and straight hair is a challenge, but Barri Chase knocked it out of the park! They custom mixed my color and the experience at Akemi Salon was so warm and welcoming I will definitely be back.
