I would NEVER go back to Oakland Vet Hospital. We had one good experience with Dr. Kang, but had some negative experiences with him. I think he tells lies to extort money! He knows he can easily manipulate you and he takes advantage! I think he has a personality disorder! He recommends kibble, which is the worst thing you can feed your babies! He recommends prescription flea meds that can destroy your dog or cat! Don't trust him with your precious fur babies! Truthaboutpetfood.com

I think it's RIDICULOUS that you have to have your animal spayed or neutered in order to come to this vet. When he won't even talk to you the minute he knows your animal isn't spayed or neutered is just DISGUSTING!! How can you honestly have a compassion and love for animals if you are so heartless and cold when you have someone reach out to you when they have a sick animal. These animals may not mean anything to you, but these animals are the WORLD to another. I have no respect for ANY vet who can turn their back on an animal just because of that! Get another job! Our communities animals deserves so much better than someone as heartless as this vet!!! 1 star is too many

Just called to make routine appointments for 2 cats. One of these boys has been seen at this clinic for bite wound care. The care he received was good. Dr Kang answered my phone call, I explained I the cats need routine check up vaccines. He told me if he wasn’t their veterinarian, he advised taking them elsewhere?? Continuity of care ,,,, I explained it’s easier with two cats for me to drive a few blocks, as their other vet is Myrtle creek/ Canyonville. I did not, and will not call this practice in the future for any of my animals needs. Let your receptionist do her job and answer the phones!!! Maybe you’ll retain or gain new clients that way.
