Been taking my dusty crusty 1989 Toyota Camry here for 5+ years. Great prices, great turn around, great (honest) customer service. Almost all my repairs I’ve found to be anywhere from 10%-50% cheaper, almost none of them took more than a day, and he’ll tell you if something NEEDS to be fixed now or not and try and work with you. Also, if you like supporting local business, this is the place for you. You’ll definitely get the bang for your buck.

My car was overdue for maintenance and I had been told by a different mechanic that I was in urgent need of a very expensive bushing and control arm, which had me worried. I came to see Joe at Fairbanks Automotive and not only was he super professional and friendly, he took a look at my bushing and control arm and let me know it wasn't an emergency, just something to do down the road. It's such a relief to go to a mechanic and not feel like they're trying to get as much money out of you as possible, especially as a woman who doesn't know a lot about cars. This is an honest shop that did great work for me, and I'll definitely be back!
