I have been going to SOIM since 2014 when I moved here. I have had nothing but very good care and I am very satisfied. When my doctor recently retired, I was switched temporarily to a nurse practitioner who seemed very competent. Since the new doctor arrived, a young Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, I am more than satisfied. She is able to recognized and treat some problems that might have required a different medical doctor with the general M.D. way of practicing medicine. I had heard how well trained Osteopaths were and I believe it.
I love Dr. Murphy and it always feels like you get to know each other personally. He makes notes so that he makes you feel like you and the things you talk about are never forgotten!! He takes the time to listen and takes every concern seriously. Even if he doesn’t think you have the problem you think you have, he still does the testing to investigate it. I hope to see him for years and years to come!
And the man who answers (must be the majority because I almost always talk to him) the calls is so nice and professional. I never catch him trying to push the job onto someone else and he does what it takes to find the answer while being the kindest about it. They both...read full review
As far as i'm concerned, there is only one good doctor here in the whole facility. Unfortunately, he is not a p c p. He is the best endocrinologist in jackson county. Doctor hungerford. I have been seeing him for over twenty years. Not one complaint. He listens to everything you say. Excellent bedside manner. And takes care of your medical business immediately. I would never see anyone else but him. I have thyroid disease. And he has never been wrong about anything that deals with my situation. Very proud to call him my doctor.
